WARNING:
BEWARE OF CLOPAY GARAGE DOORS.
If you are in the market for new garage doors - do not buy Clopay from Home Depot. Home Depot invoice says the doors come with a "Lifetime Warranty".
Home Depot sold them. Home Depot installed them.
After several years of being installed, one of the doors began rusting heavily
between all the areas where the panels meet, and around one window.
Home Depot says: "Contact Clopay."
After
sending my info to Clopay and waiting several weeks, they sent
me a package of information on how to repaint the door. A pretty cynical
message. Their attitude is that one door of the pair that was installed,
rusting like crazy, is somehow my fault. Their comment is that "surface
rust" is not covered. Obviously, paint and plastic coating doesn't
rust. The rust is coming from the metal outward. The door panels are rusting
because they weren't properly prepared / primed at the factory.
In order for me to properly re-paint one door, it has to be dismantled,
sand-blasted, primed, painted, and re-installed. Since the metal is so thin,
it is very likely that sandblasting would go right through the metal. The cost
for the entire process for one door, would cost more than buying a pair of new
doors.
The botttom line is that Home Depot and Clopay have no interest in supporting
the product.
I suggest you buy your doors from a reputable manufacturer / retailer.

Since the British Forces In Afghanistan are comprised of dozens of elements from many different Brigades and Regiments, including canines, I have chosen to represent them all with the insignia of the 17th Lancers - mainly because it's a really cool badge.
